Charlize Theron
Statuesque South African stunner Charlize Theron lit up the room at New York's Goddess gala Monday night as she's revving up for next month's release of her action packed heist drama, "The Italian Job."
Charlize plays a safecracker, but hardly plays it safe in the role, performing her own stunts in the white-knuckle hi-speed chase scenes. She says, "You don't just get into a car and do these things. There's definitely a skill to it."
The 5'9" beauty, currently dating Irish actor Stuart Townsend, continues to work her way up Hollywood's A-list of leading ladies. She's already getting big buzz for her next role, starring in "Monster," the true story of prostitute-turned-serial killer Aileen Wuornos. Charlize says, "I put on a lot of weight for the film. We did latex and prosthetic teeth and it was really about studying her as a person."
From "The Italian Job" to playing "Monster," the beautiful Charlize is always sure to please.
