Nicole Kidman
It's an "Extra" exclusive - Nicole Kidman, starring as the belle of New York's Tribeca Ball.
"Extra" had the only TV crew inside the ultra-posh Gotham Hall as Nicole attended the star-studded soiree, which was co-hosted by her "Moulin Rouge" co-horts Baz Luhrmann and his wife Catherine Martin and underwritten by Hermés.
Hermés president Robert Chavez tells "Extra" the evening raised $500,000 for the New York Academy of Art. Meanwhile, Nicole was a work of art herself as she lit up the room just as she did earlier this week at the GLAAD Media Awards.
Baz Luhrmann tells "Extra" that Nic's shtick at the GLAAD Awards not only stole the show, she saved it. He says, "The other night we were on stage and the teleprompter broke. And like she's always able to do, she was able to make the room feel electric and fantastic. I think that's a great gift."
