Toby Keith

It's become a battle cry for America's military. Now, country crooner Toby Keith talks about the incredible response he's getting from his patriotic anthem.

He's the flag-waving, honky-tonk singer with some fightin' words for anti-war celebrities.Toby says, “These celebrities are so good at being anti-American. Why won't they go make an anti-war movie or an anti-American song, and see how far they get with it?”

Outspoken country music star Toby Keith made no apologies for his devout love for the red white and blue, while performing his patriotic hit "The Angry American,” at MacDill Air Force Base last week.

The single from Keith's "Unleashed" album continues to rally folks abroad and at home. After 35 weeks on the charts, "Unleashed" is still in the top three best-selling country albums. Not bad for a song that he wrote simply to honor his late father!

Keith explains, “I'd lost him 6 months prior to 9-11, and since that was the greatest attack on American soil since probably Pearl Harbor, I couldn't get him off my mind. I kept thinking about how disgusted he would be.”

Now, it's America's troops that dominate the mind of this country king.
