Jennifer Lopez
She changed her name, altered her appearance, and tried to disappear with her daughter.
But somehow he found her. It's Jennifer Lopez like you've never seen her in the new psychological thriller, "Enough."
Jennifer says, “It was kind of like a female ‘Rocky’ in a way.”
Jennifer plays a battered woman trying to escape her abusive husband played by Billy Campbell. He stalks and torments her until Jennifer turns the tables on him and says enough.
That fighting spirit has led Jennifer to the top of her own entertainment empire with hit movies and platinum records. Her latest release is a song from her new movie called "Alive," written with her new husband Cris Judd. Jennifer says, “He came up with this melody and he was playing it all the time and I was like, ‘What is that?’”
Just last week “Extra” caught up with Jennifer in New York shooting the video to another new song, "I'm Gonna Be Alright." You can add clothing designer and restaurant owner to her resume. Her Los Angeles hotspot Madre's is actually run by her ex-husband Ojani Noa. Jennifer says, “I concentrate on things one a time professionally.”
What she won't concentrate on are stories about her personal life: the Puffy drama, her marriage to Cris Judd, and recent reports that she's is pregnant. But as an onscreen mom fleeing an abusive marriage in "Enough," Jennifer hopes people come away with a message of empowerment. She says, “You can do it. The only power you have is within yourself.”
