'Virgin Chronicles'
It's about first crushes, first jobs, and first friends. Coming soon to MTV, the same channel that reinvented the reality TV mold with the mega-successful “Osbournes” is a new celebrity driven reality show called “The Virgin Chronicles.”
So why is Rebecca Romain Stamos first up to reveal so much about her personal past? Well, it just so happens her hubby, actor John Stamos, came up with the idea for “The Virgin Chronicles.” John says, “I had a dream. I dreamed about it one day and then I called up MTV and said, ‘Do you like this show?’ And they said ‘yeah.’"
MTV said “yeah” because in an era when celebrities like Ozzy Osbourne and family are willing to open up their homes 24/7, to the tune of tremendous ratings and exposure, MTV feels more celebrities will be willing to break down their personal walls.
MTV's Entertainment President Brian Graden says, "To stay highly relevant as a celebrity, you're going to see them opening up more parts of their life, which will make for fascinating television … We’re very excited because, as a channel, we're the first place you hear music, first place you see trends, and this is a show all about celebrating people's firsts."
The real question is, will John Stamos reveal himself in front of the camera? He says, “I'm still a virgin so I wouldn't have a story to tell."
