Life couldn't be sweeter for Christina Applegate. The girl we loved as bubble-headed Kelly Bundy on "Married With Children" and later as "Jesse," is taking her comic chops to the big screen alongside Cameron Diaz in "The Sweetest Thing."
Christina says, “It shows that women, we know what's going on guys. We know what it's all about, so don't try to fool us."
But these days, the award-winning comedienne's passion for punch lines is playing a supporting role to her love life. She says, “I don't even care about anything else cause I have got this thing here that is so important to me, and that's my relationship with my husband."
Her husband is actor Jonathan Schaech of "That Thing You Do" fame, whom she married last October. Christina made sure she and her hubby would spend some quality time together onscreen, getting Jonathan a cameo in "The Sweetest Thing." She says, “We had so much fun that day. We shared a trailer. We had never worked together so that was very exciting."
In the film, Christina and co-star Selma Blair are helping to mend Cameron Diaz’s broken heart. Off camera, the 30-year-old Los Angeles native admits the trio forged a fast and fashionable friendship.
