'Bachelor's' Buddies Get In On the Action
He's quickly becoming America's favorite "Bachelor," adored by fans, females, and even a few jealous husbands. But what do those who know him best think?
"They're laughing at me," Jesse insists. So "Extra" went straight to the sources, his NY Giants teammates -- starting with middle linebacker Nick Greisen, middle linebacker Wesly Mallard and guard Big "DL" David Diehl. And the boys were ready to dish.
But Palmer beat them to the punch, revealing that the big kisser on the field is Nick, who had his own reality romance on "Elimidate." "It was the worst experience of my life," Greisen insisted. But he quickly added, "Hopefully I can get some of the rejects (Jesse) sends off."
And while Jesse expects his share of ribbing from the team, it seems like they're all taking his quest for love seriously. "Trying to find someone that's honest about liking him for him -- that's the hardest part about being a pro player," Greisen told us. "Everyone's been pretty supportive," Diehl added. "But maybe when we see the hot tub scene, things may change."
So, do they see a potential Mrs. Palmer in the group? "I don't know," Mallard said. "There are too many that I see as his type. As time goes on, we’ll get more of a feel for whom he picks."
Buddy David even tried to be Jesse's love coach, advising him: "If he feels the girl is right for him, just don't be scared about what you're feeling. Just be yourself."
