How to Be Diva-licious
Divas everywhere are getting ready to strut their stuff this weekend, at the annual VH1 Divas Concert in Las Vegas, and only "Extra’s" got an exclusive preview from three very hot divas: Britney Spears, Vanessa Williams and Jessica Simpson.
So what exactly is a diva? "A diva is
a woman who knows exactly what she wants," Spears told
us. And the princess of pop even gave us an example to ensure
we understood her definition: "Madonna."
"[A diva] dresses in nothing but the best," Usher
added. And Williams told us a true diva always has, "A
humidifier in the room at the perfect temperature."
Neo-diva Jessica Simpson’s making her first appearance at the
annual benefit, and we just had to ask her husband, Nick Lachey,
exactly how does one become diva-esque? "The list is too
long," Lachey told us. But Jessica responded, "I think
I'm going to be the one looking at all the other divas. I'm
not
going to be the one looked at as a diva."
Simpson will join Patti LaBelle, Gladys Knight, Ashanti and
Eve on stage this year. Look for these sexy soulful ladies to
belt out their best Sunday night at 9 p.m. on VH1. You can also
expect a few diva-spottings in Miami on August 29th during the
2004 MTV Video Music Awards. |
