Trump TV: First Impressions of the Apprentices

Just like the rest of America, "Extra" is all fired up for Thursday's live finale of "The Apprentice," and Wednesday night on "Dateline NBC," you'll get your chance to see the Apprentices before they became boardroom stars, in the auditions the hopefuls taped to get their shot at getting to the top.

"I'm a smart, sophisticated, savvy, sassy, yet subtle self-starter. With a great sense of style," is Amy’s claim, before she launches into song: "And I am a material girl!"

You’ll get a "sneak peek" at finalists Bill and Kwame's passionate pitches to be on TV. Kwame boasts: "And I think I play well on camera. And I think I have a good personality, a good smile and I know that's part of Hollywood appeal."

Meanwhile, Bill states, "I'm an athlete. I run marathons. I do triathlons. So I think my competitive spirit is gonna be there for the show."

And long before Amy rocked reality TV with her flirty *show-mance* with Nick, she appeared with a mystery date in her audition tape, where she says, "it's Friday night, date night. Honey, tell Donald Trump why I’d make a great apprentice."

"Oh, from CEO to CEO all I can tell you is run!" says Mr. Mystery. "Run as far as you can!"

It's not surprising that five-foot-six Sam went big on his tape and rented a bus -- but will America ever be ready for the sight of Sam, as he appears in his audition, shirtless?

"You're selling and you're buying and all the different nonsense," says near-nude Sam in his "tour-mobile." "This is what it's all about, up here."

And watching Troy’s tape, it's clear he was going to become a fan favorite. "I never went to college but I learned my ABC's, and that's ‘always be closing;’ and I’m always closing the deal."

From 200-thousand auditions to 16 contestants to the last two men standing -- and on Thursday, only one will be "The Apprentice." Tune in to NBC see who it will be.

You can catch more "Apprentice" Auditions, Tuesday night on "Dateline NBC," and check back with "Extra" for more of our week-long Trumpathon.
