Trump TV Day 1: The Donald's Right-Hand Works
It Out
As Donald Trump's trusted advisor, George Ross knows that the boardroom can be brutal.
He’s been beside Donald each week as the "Apprentice" hopefuls sweat their chances the "firing line," but George sweats himself by working out two hours a week at the gym -- and several more hours at home.
"I think it's very important, especially
if you get on in years, to keep your body in shape," George
tells us. "I think it helps keep your mind in shape."
And what does the boss think of George? "George is a fit guy," Donald confirms. "He's a smart guy. He’s a tough guy and he's a good guy."
George has had hip replacement surgery, and though 76 years old, he feels like a young apprentice. "I feel like a young man with something wrong," George admits, laughingly.
We caught up with George as he was going through his rigorous
regimen at the tony New York Health and Racquet Club, where
his trainer, Jack Arning, told us that George could give Jack
Lalane a run for his money. "There are people in their
30's and 40's who would love to be in as good shape as George
is," said Arning.
But George says don't look for him this summer on Muscle Beach, "No. I don't know what my body fat is. I'm not looking to enter any contests. I got enough problems as it is. But I know I feel good."
Good enough to take Mr. Trump? "I don't know, but I'm not about to find out!"

Apprentice," Thursday night on NBC. |
