You're Still A Swan to Us
On FOX’s hit new reality TV show, "The Swan", twenty-eight-year-old "ugly duckling" Kelly Alemi went through extensive reconstructive surgery, including breast augmentation, full-body liposuction, dental surgery and a grueling exercise regime, all to transform herself into the possible "Swan."
And even though it was Kelly’s competitor,
Rachel, who won the right to go on to the beauty pageant phase
of "The Swan" Wednesday night, castoff Kelly tells
us she still feels like a winner.
"I am confident, I can make eye contact with people, and
I'm happy," Kelly tells us.
But perhaps the most emotional moment in Kelly's transformation
was her tearful reunion on air Wednesday night with her boyfriend
Bob. Kelly tells us, "He cried and I cried. It's a great
love story."
Today, Kelly is looking ahead to her new life and she leaves
behind her experience on "The Swan" with no regrets.
"I know I'm beautiful, I don't need a judge to tell I'm
beautiful, and that's the most important part I've walked away
from this with," she admits.
