Meet the Newest Bachelor
ABC’s newest "Bachelor" makes a living making passes, but can NY Giants quarterback Jesse Palmer score with his female fans?
New York's Planet Hollywood was transformed into Planet Bachelorhood, as fans of all ages lined up to meet and take pictures with TV’s newest "Bachelor."
Palmer even got a surprise visit from a famous "Friend,"
when Matthew Perry dropped by "Extra’s" Planet Hollywood
studio to share a song he wrote for Palmer. In addition to the
slew of celebrities, Palmer received support from his fellow
Canadians, many of whom showed up to wish the quarterback luck.
So what kind of advice has Jesse’s teammates given him? "One of them told me not to cry," Jesse shared with us. "I am emotional."
Has Palmer ever fallen in love at first sight? "I have actually," he revealed. "I don't fall in love very easily right off the bat. I don't say I love you. If I do, I mean it. But I'm not the kind to throw L-bombs everywhere."
Is the plan to make out with as many women as possible? Is Jesse a make-out bandit? "No, I'm not the kissing bandit," Palmer insisted.
But why did he need a TV show to pick out 25 chicks? "What's great about this is that when the 25 women signed on they didn't know who I was or what I did," Palmer told us. "That put us on a neutral playing field."
And you can take to the field with Jesse as "The Bachelor" kicks off its new season, Wednesday night on ABC.
