Rumor Control: Trying Times
The lives of Bobby Brown and Whitney Houston are never boring. But is the recently-troubled couple really planning to star in a reality show?
We found Bobby in his hometown of Boston, being followed around by a camera crew, spending a lot of time clowning around with fans. So we called Houston’s people to get the real story. And they said "yes." The fact is that Bobby’s shooting a reality series. Whitney reportedly supports her husband, but hasn’t yet decided if she’ll be a part of it.
Is Britney Spears under the weather? Friday night, Britney cancelled her concert in Cleveland, Ohio, just two hours prior to the show. Some fans thought the announcement was an April Fool's joke, and showed up anyway.
But it’s fact -- Spears really was sick, reportedly with the flu. She’ll make up the date in June, and is also reportedly considering a tour of China.
Is Paul Reubens (best known as Pee Wee Herman) finally breaking his silence? It’s a fact -- in an exclusive interview with "Dateline's" Stone Phillips, Reubens insists, "I don't want anyone for one second to think that I’m titillated by images of children."
Reubens says the photos that police seized from his home were more about "kitsch" than "kink." "The public may think I'm weird, they may think I'm crazy," Reubens says. "That's all fine as long as one of the things you're not thinking about me is that I'm a pedophile."
You can see the rest of Reubens' interview Friday night at 8 p.m. on NBC.
