He's got all the charm and playful personality to make him an international superstar. In fact, sexy Latin crooner Carlos Ponce is poised to become the next Enrique Iglesias, something Ponce thinks is “quite a compliment."
Only “Extra” got a peek at the Puerto Rican pop prince making his hot new music video.
Of the concept for the video, Ponce says, “Women that know exactly what they want and they go for it, and that's what we're trying to feature in the video."
Latin legend Emilio Estefan, Gloria's hit-maker husband, was Ponce's first and only choice to direct his new video. Ponce says, “I didn’t even shop around. I said, ‘I know what you can do.’”
Thirty year-old Carlos has already proved what he can do in the Latin market. He's a superstar chart topper, and a heart-pounding soap star and talk show host. But don't look for him to translate his tune to English just yet.
Ponce says, “I know I’m taking my time, but it's not going to go away. When good music is there I don’t think there's a specific time to release it."
