A Hollywood Invasion in the Desert

Las Vegas rolled out the red carpet and Hollywood’s biggest stars showed up in full force, ready to tell all at ShoWest, the world’s largest motion picture industry convention, where stars and studios show off their upcoming blockbusters to the theater owners who’ll be showing them to you.

First up was a very pregnant and beaming Gwyneth Paltrow with her costar Jude Law from their retro-fantasy, "Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow."

Law and Paltrow have been pals since "The Talented Mr. Ripley," and since Law is a father of three, he'll be the go-to guy when Paltrow's little one shows up. "I’m going to call him all the time," Paltrow told us.

So how was the couple’s onscreen chemistry? The always-respectable Paltrow laughed and would only say, "We have fun." But Paltrow told us she can't wait for parenthood with husband Chris Martin. "I'm just trying to keep an open mind about it and take it one day at a time."

Law is also starring with Marisa Tomei and Jane Krakowski in the upcoming remake of the 60's classic "Alfie." There have been rumors that he's dating his 21-year-old costar Sienna Miller, but Law remained tight-lipped on the subject.

The original "Alfie," Michael Caine, also dropped by to give Law his blessing: "I think it’s great, Jude makes a great ‘Alfie.’"

Denzel Washington, Meryl Streep and Leiv Schreiber also stopped by and revealed that they are teaming up for another 60's remake, this time of the political thriller "The Manchurian Candidate."

It’s hard to believe, but in December, Washington turns the big 50. So has he found the fountain of youth? "Botox!" revealed Denzel. "You heard it here first!"

When "Saturday Night Live’s" Tina Fey dropped by with Lindsay Lohan to talk about their new comedy, "Mean Girls," Fey revealed what she’s planning when Janet Jackson hosts "SNL" next month: "I want to do a ‘Good Times’ parody with Janet and make her play Penny on 'Good Times' again."

But Nicole Kidman led in the biggest collection of stars -- including Bette Midler and Faith Hill -- who all had stories about their new version of "The Stepford Wives." "None of us can keep our mouth shut," Kidman told us. To learn more about Nicole’s newest in our "Stepford Wives" story, click here.
