How the Bachelor Will Get the Inside Story
Jesse Palmer is already playing the field, and we have your first look at the new "Bachelor" who is now working it in promos for the upcoming 5th season of the hit ABC dating show. But 25-year-old Palmer is not only successful and single; he’s also a sports star: he plays professional football for the New York Giants.
He may be a celebrity in the sports world, but Palmer was on shaky ground when "Extra" caught up with him just days before the big show, at his very first promo shoot for "The Bachelor." So how does he feel about it all? "If you just put it into sports analogies I'll be fine, if you could draw it up on a play sheet I’ll do better," Palmer admitted.
"Extra" has learned that there’s a big twist on the latest version of "The Bachelor -- one the show has never tried before, and which may make things a bit less confusing for poor Jesse. One of the 25 Bachelorettes is actually Palmer's best friend -- and she will act as a mole, tipping Palmer as to what the girls are really like when he’s not around.
"I'm hoping that this can work and I think I can find someone to spend the rest of my life with, so I’m excited," Palmer tells us. "Football is just a small party of my life; it doesn’t define who I am or what I am."
Watch "The Bachelor" kick off April 7th. And check out Wednesday’s edition of "Extra" to meet all the single women vying for Palmer’s heart will you be able to spot the the mole?
