On the Set of 'Kill Bill Vol. 2'
She's back with a vengeance with one mission in mind --- to "Kill Bill." Uma Thurman will continue her journey as an assassin bent on revenge, and only "Extra" got exclusive behind-the-scenes footage of the most talked-about sequel in decades.
Motor-mouthed Super-director Quentin Tarantino was not only excited on set but could barely sit in his chair as he told us about "Kill Bill: Vol. 2." "You take 500 people, you put them in a room, lock the door, turn on the projector and show them ‘Kill Bill,’ and they know they saw something."
And even though people were surprised that Tarantino cut his movie in half, Thurman confided that given the months and months of shooting abroad, she wasn’t surprised. "We shot for 156 days and there was never a schedule," Thurman told us. "Once it was made into two movies it made sense. I mean you sort of are suspicious that he had that in mind all along."
With two assassins killed off in "Vol. 1," it’s now Daryl Hannah who gets a shot at attempting to kill the unstoppable Thurman. "I’m not a good person," Hannah said of her character. "Nothing is good, I’m tough."
And don’t be surprised if you recognize the voice of Thurman’s Buddha buddy. "Extra" has learned Quentin himself will be the voice of Thurman’s spiritual advisor.
You can see "Kill Bill: Vol. 2" make a killing April 16th.
