Sky-High Star Salaries

They're sexy, smart and scandalous, but even when the big stars are not making headlines, they're always making big money. Parade magazine’s got the lowdown on this year’s maximum money-makers and of the166 people making the list, it's celebrities that are at the top of the chart.

"Fourteen celebrities on our list combined made over $200 million," said Parade magazine’s Editor in Chief Lee Kravitz.

Simon Cowell knows how to hand out the nasty comments on "American Idol," and for his hard work, he earned $2.3 million last year in the U.S. alone.

Sexy Halle Berry raked in $15 million last year, teen idol Hilary Duff earned $2 million and Anna Nicole Smith proved she’s a smart blonde, bringing in $1 million.

Judge Judy is tough in court and in business. She's hiding a cool $25 million behind that bench.

Even bad publicity doesn’t stop good bank; star scandals certainly don’t seem to mean a paycheck cut. While Kobe Bryant had a bad year in the press, he had a great year in the money -- he's in the game with $13.5 million.

So who came in number one? Here’s a clue: "You’re fired!" TV’s favorite boss, Donald Trump, earned $100 million in real estate and now gets a cool $375,000 per episode of "The Apprentice."
