Take a Meeting with Trump
Fans can’t seem to get enough of Donald Trump. His now-infamous line, "You’re fired!" has inspired T-shirts, billboards and posters. And now the Donald is proud to announce he's hosting another big show on April 3rd -- "Saturday Night Live."
"I was just called by Jeff Zucker, who's the great genius as you know at NBC," Trump reveals. "I really didn’t particularly want to do it because I’m really busy and it's a lot of work, but we're going to do it."
Trump is also talking about another powerful blonde business
icon -- Martha Stewart. "I know Martha very well,"
Trump says. "She made a tragic mistake in not testifying.
You had a jury, they wanted to hear somebody say, ‘I didn't
do it,’ and she didn't say that."
Trump knows what it takes to be a powerhouse in business, and sees it daily in one of his most trusted advisors -- Trump Chief Operating Officer Carolyn Kepcher. It’s her unsmiling face that greets the grim apprentices as they enter the boardroom to meet their fate.
A 35-year-old married mother of two, Kepcher is in charge of the Trump National Golf Clubs and has worked for Trump for 10 years. So how does she manage not to get fired? "Definitively loyalty and perseverance," she insists.
"Apprentice" fans will remember it was on Kepcher’s turf where the women "Apprentices" were scolded for relying too much on their sexuality. "This is an interview to work for the Trump organization," she told them. "If it was an interview, would you jump up and down with a small shirt on?"
