Paris Wild on Miami

It was a rocking night in Miami as "Extra" got the exclusive invite into Paris Hilton’s bash to celebrate the launch of her new recording career and upcoming pop album.

Paris’ first single, "Screwed," will be out in June with the album to follow later this summer. She told "Extra" that she plans to write her songs drawing from her own experiences: "Just dealing with a lot of problems and things in girls’ lives."

And Hilton certainly has the support of her boyfriend, former Backstreet Boy Nick Carter. "I think she’s definitely got what it takes," Carter said.

But when it came to Carter’s troubled family and his parents, who are reportedly trying to turn their well-documented feud into a reality show, Carter was less positive. "I can’t comment on it. I don't know what's going on," Carter told us. "I really want no part of it. Right now, that’s the way I feel."

As for Hilton, she says she can't wait to cruise cross country in a Winnebago with Nicole Richie in "The Simple Life 2." "I just love the show, it’s so much fun and I’m really excited."
