Shannon, 'Shield' and Spying
TV’s madcap Molly Shannon stars as one whacky wife and mom in "Cracking Up," which bows Wednesday night on FOX at 9:30. In the series, the "SNL" alum and her insanely rich family hire a live-in shrink.
And therapy is the theme of another offbeat new comedy making its debut tonight: "Significant Others" is about four couples in marriage counseling. The cast actually ad-libs their lines, and "Extra" got a prank demo that fooled the crowd watching on the big screen at an LA Avengers arena football game.
Meanwhile, the real "Significant Others" premieres Wednesday on Bravo at 9 p.m.
Big bad Vic Mackey (also known as Michael Chiklis) is back to
his old tricks when "The Shield" returns for its third
season Tuesday on FX.
Courtney Thorne-Smith and Jim Belushi gave "Extra" the inside scoop on Wednesday night's episode of "According to Jim." "We’re not so sure we can trust our daughter, Gracie," Thorne-Smith revealed. So what do they do? "We spy on her," Belushi answered.
You can see the jam Jim gets into on ABC at 9 p.m.
