'Joe Millionaire' Finale
He picked Zora, scorned Sarah, and made a million dollar confession. But in 34 million homes around the nation, the fans tuned in to Fox as Zora accepted Evan Marriott for poorer, only to become a whole lot richer when Fox handed the happy couple a million bucks to split.
"Extra" watched the finale with friends
of second place Sarah. While the entire cast isn’t allowed to
talk until after next week’s reunion show, Sarah's friends admit
even they were touched by the fairy tale ending. One of them
told "Extra," "For her to come clean and say
I wanna be with you anyway and to get surprised with that money,
to me that's a great twist. I’m pretty impressed."
The big twist was the topic on radio stations across the country, but when our Jon Kelly caught up with Evan after his Monday appearance on "The View," he seemed thrilled to be Joe Thousandaire. Evan says, "I think the show turned out great. Everybody's happy."
But could Fox have one final twist in store? Next week, Evan and his chosen one will see each other for the first time since the finale was taped over Thanksgiving. Will they still be in love after their fling in France? Find out next Monday on Fox.
