'Are You Hot?'

The stage was sizzling as 32 hopefuls went head to head and back to back on ABC's "Are You Hot: The Search for America's Sexiest People."

The very confident contenders from the Northeast found out they needed more than a smile to nail this competition. Judges Randolph Duke and Rachel Hunter had no problem handing out the criticisms. But the most honest judge was Lorenzo Lamas.

He is not shy when it comes to pointing out the flaws and the fabulous. "Extra" got the lowdown on his tough talk. Lamas says, "These kids are on the show because they think they are the hottest thing since sliced bread. So it’s my duty if you will to cut to the chase."

But how did the contestants feel about losing out in this looks contest? Only "Extra" was backstage right after they got cut loose. One contestant said, "Apparently the judges don't know what they're talking about."

Next week, 32 more hot hopefuls will be reduced as the search for the sexiest continues.
