Mystery Reporter: Joe Pantoliano
He was a traitor in "The Matrix," a sleaze ball
in "Memento," and an all-around bad guy on HBO's "The Sopranos."
In real life, however, he's Hoboken, New Jersey's most famous
son. He's Joe Pantoliano and he’s today’s Mystery Reporter.
Joey "Pants" as he's known here, grew up in the projects of Hoboken. He says, "My father worked in a funeral parlor, my mother was a part time bookie."
It was Hoboken’s proximity to the bright lights of Broadway that put Joey on the path to fame. He says, "I used to come over here and walk along the shoreline and look out to where my dreams were."
He never lost a taste for his hometown. He says, "I'm running for city council so I can get a parking spot."
