She's the sweet, but smart-mouthed sidekick to Frankie Muniz in the movie "Big Fat Liar," and Amanda Bynes has one man to thank for giving her, her big break.
The mystery man behind our microphone actually helped Amanda get to the head of the class, which is fitting since he got his break on TV’s "Head of the Class." He’s Dan Schneider, writer of Amanda’s latest, "Big Fat Liar."
Amanda was 10-years-old when Dan discovered her at LA’s Comedy Store. Dan is a
former child star turned executive producer and writer. His shows include "All That" and the movie "Good Burger."
He gave the child comic a variety show on Nickelodeon called "The Amanda Show" which became a hit. But it's Dan’s movie, "Big Fat Liar" that has her cell-phone ringing off the hook.
Now Amanda is on her way to becoming the latest teen queen and the royal treatment has only just begun. She even has a new pilot she’s doing for the WB.
