Mystery Reporter: Denzel
James Woods, Ray Liotta, and Anne Heche were
among the famous faces turned out to the Hollywood premiere
of Denzel Washington’s new drama, "John Q." And one of the
film's stars did double duty for "Extra," working as our mystery
reporter.
In "John Q." Washington plays a dad so desperate
to get his sick child better, he holds an entire hospital hostage
with only one demand: to have his kid's name on the donor list.
Denzel says, "A young boy or girl should not be allowed to die
because they don't have insurance."
Kids were on the mind of some of the stars since Denzel's co-star
Anne Heche is expecting her first child next month. Yep, the
actress formerly known as Ellen’s partner was with husband and
child, and doesn't mind all the attention surrounding her new
life. She says, "It's nice that people want to know what's going
on."
But the night belonged to Denzel, and can you believe this Oscar
winner was moonlighting as our mystery reporter at his own premiere?
Denzel has grabbed our mike before. He tried interviewing his
wife at last month's L.A. Film Critics Awards.
So the "John Q." star is no pro at Q&A, but he sure has a handle
on his day job.
