Soap Pads
They live in a tawdry TV world filled with devious backstabbers. No wonder America’s hottest soap stars surround themselves with beautiful luxury away from the set.
"Port Charles" star Kimberlin Brown is just one of the daytime actors who tossed out the welcome mat for HGTV’s special "Soap Pad's 2."
Kimberlin created her California home in spectacular style with its soaring fireplace and unique ironwork.
Galen Gering of "Passions" was voted one of People magazine's most beautiful celebrities, and he finds beauty right in his own Hollywood Hills backyard.
For real life married soap stars Bill and Susan Seaforth Hayes, the European furnishings in their Hollywood home are their passport to happiness. They say, "It's our desire to be in Italy at all times."
The show also traveled east to the Brooklyn brownstone of "Guiding Light's" Crystal Chappell. She says, "New York's been good to me. I can't imagine living anywhere else."
This HGTV special certainly reveals one thing about our favorite soap stars their homes are almost as colorful as their TV characters.
