Mystery Reporter: Aaron Carter
He's a teen heartthrob who's selling out arenas around the country. And now he's "Extra's" newest and youngest secret celebrity correspondent.
We caught up with 14-year-old singing sensation
Aaron Carter in the middle of his cross-country tour. This pint-sized
teen has a pop pedigree. Older brother Nick found fame first
with the Backstreet Boys. Aaron says, "I look up to him, follow
in his footsteps. But eventually I am going to hop over him
and he would be following me."
Ambitious Aaron had his first band at age 7.
By age 10, he was rocking his way across Europe. And last year,
as a sure sign that he had arrived, actress Mena Suvari poked
fun at Carter on "Saturday Night Live."
Now the littlest Carter is taking on his own pay-per-view special
coming up later this month. Aaron says, "My fans are getting
older, they are growing up with me."
This pop prodigy is more than a pretty face. He plays keyboards,
drums and has some fierce dance moves. Aaron’s mom tells him,
"You started doing all those little turns in your diapers. You
used to do like little spins all over the floor."
