Britney's First Movie

While Britney was in New York accepting a Fun Fearless Female award from Cosmopolitan magazine, the people in charge of protecting the singing sensation were on alert.

On Tuesday, Britney's security guards caught a trespasser at the Hollywood home she shares with boyfriend Justin Timberlake. The unidentified intruder apparently took temporary shelter in Britney's garage, and no charges were filed.

Britney says, "I don't think our security system was on. Our security people, they turned everything off unfortunately. But they got the guy ... This is the first time something like this has happened so it makes you appreciate your security and the people that are protecting you."

Obviously, Britney was safe and sound Wednesday morning when "Extra" met up with her in New Orleans. She's back in her home state promoting her first very feature film, "Crossroads." While it was hardly a stretch for Britney to play a character that sings, she says one of the biggest challenges of the role was having to kiss her co-star Anson Mount. Britney tells "Extra" that it's not easy watching Justin cuddling with girls in his videos.

She says, "It's just awkward seeing somebody you love up there on this huge screen kissing somebody. I accept it because I know it's part of what we do, but I can't watch it. I just go in the bathroom and shut the door. I think he handles it better than me though."

Britney's fans can catch her in "Crossroads" on February 15th.
