Preparing for Hollywood’s Biggest Night

Sean, Diane, Renée, Sofia, Tim and Susan are all getting ready for the Academy Awards, and now "Extra" can lead them to their seats on Sunday night. We were first in the Kodak Theater Tuesday morning when seat assignments were given out.

Charlize Theron and Nicole Kidman are in the front row. There is no word yet on where Tom Cruise will sit, but Johnny Depp will be able to stretch his legs, and there will be a political presence in the room too: Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger will be there cracking up, with Jim Carrey and Bill Murray right behind him.

"Extra" has learned that Murray, nominated for the first time for Best Actor, will also take the stage as a presenter, along with Tom Cruise, Tom Hanks and John Travolta.

Elsewhere on the Award beat, Sharon Stone was at the A Diamond is Forever Pre-Oscar Bash, along with Kim Cattrall and Oscar nominee Keisha Castle-Hughes. "It is so fun to see your peers celebrated for their good work," Stone said. "All this is happening and it’s really surreal," Castle-Hughes added.

And star stylist Phillip Bloch, who will dress Pierce Brosnan and Jim Carrey for the big night, revealed to "Extra" just what he has in mind: "Jim definitely loves to have the rock and roll feeling like a good Prada shoe, a Varvatos tuxedo and maybe a diamond pin."

One thing is for sure, everyone will be dressed for success on Sunday night. And for everything Oscar all week, check out People magazine’s Hollywood Daily, an insider guide leading up to Hollywood’s biggest night.
