Career Differences Causing 'Newlywed' Tension?
They've been playful lovers on their MTV hit show, but as Jessica’s career skyrockets, insiders say Nick has become the man in her shadow.
Last week on "Newlyweds," Nick was miffed at Jessica’s bigger role on a VH-1 skit, and his role in their public service announcement all but disappeared.
In Us magazine's new cover story, Staff Editor B.J. Sigesmund says the "Newlyweds" are headed for choppy waters. When the couple arrived at the Golden Globes, photographers asked Nick to move aside so they could photograph Jessica. Also, at last week’s pre-Grammy bash, Jessica received all of the attention, the magazine reported.
One thing is for sure: Jessica's career is on a roll. Her new
CD has outsold Nick's. After she landed her own sitcom deal,
Nick got one too.
Now, with season two of "Newlyweds" wrapped up, the couple plans to share some private time on a Mexican getaway.
