Rumor Control: What's Next for Janet and Michael
Since she exposed herself to the whole world, everybody’s been wondering where Janet Jackson’s been laying low. Now, Us Weekly west coast executive editor Ken Baker tells us Janet has spent the past 10 days recording her new album and hanging out with boyfriend, Jermaine Dupri.
But is the diva now ready to make a big public appearance?
Baker says yes, and believe it or not - it's at another sporting event. Baker says, "She is supposed to attend the NBA all-star game and she may even perform."
Of course, Janet’s not the only Jackson who’s been in hiding. "Extra" told you Michael was hiding out at the suburban San Diego home of billionaire Ron Burkle. But it looks like Michael Jackson has switched locations yet again.
Security sources now tell us Michael has left the La Jolla mansion because of all the media attention. Where is Jackson now? That’s unknown, but one place he will not be is in court on Friday. His lawyers will do all the legal dancing for him.
Michael Jackson also has a $70 million bill due and he's got to come up with the money by next Tuesday. According to published reports, Miami businessman Al Malnik is trying to negotiate an extension for Jackson, but the banks are reportedly nervous about his upcoming trial.
