Director's Guild Awards

Hollywood’s top directors were honored by A-list stars, including Maria Bello, Patricia Clarkson, Keisha Castle-Hughes, Angelica Houston, and Oscar nominee Naomi Watts.

"The Lord the Rings" director, Peter Jackson, took home Saturday night's biggest honor for Outstanding Directorial Achievement. If tradition holds, Jackson’s DGA win makes him a shoe-in for the Academy Awards next month.

The night's biggest laugh came from the normally-shy Sean Penn. "I'm very disappointed in Laura Linney tonight," joked Penn. "If you noticed she is not wearing the nipple flap. If anyone deserves a little nipple, it is Clint Eastwood."
