Charlize Theron
Charlize Theron is the ultimate blonde beauty, but her role in "Monster" is getting her the most accolades. "Extra" shared a special moment with the actress Tuesday night when she received the Outstanding Performer of the Year Award at the Santa Barbara Film Festival.
Theron left her boyfriend, Stuart Townsend, at home and walked the red carpet with her mother.
Bill Paxton shared the big screen with Theron in "Mighty Joe Young." He says even when she was an unknown actress at the time, he knew he would honor her one day. Paxton says, "I used to call her a tiger kitty, but now she is a lioness. I think she is going to win the Oscar."
But even if Theron is crowned the Queen of Hollywood on Oscar night, the actress says she won't let gold go to her head. She says, "I try to keep it real. Even after winning the Golden Globe, the next day I took off the makeup, and I had to take the dogs to the vet."
