'Miracle' Premiere

Athletes and actors alike mixed it up on the red carpet Monday night for the premiere of Disney’s "Miracle."

Kurt Russell stars as Herb Brooks, the Olympic coach who led the U.S. hockey team to gold in 1980. Russell’s son, Oliver Hudson, talked him into doing the part.

Russell says, "It is an emotional movie, it just is. When I read the script I went, ‘I don't know.’ He said, ‘Pa, that is going to be a great thing to do.’ How he knew, I don’t know."

Russell’s entire family walked the red carpet, and Kate Hudson reveled in her own little miracle. Hudson and her husband, Chris Robinson, welcomed their son, Ryder Russell, just one month ago. Hudson says, "Ryder is amazing."

Oscar-nominated Patricia Clarkson also appears in the film. And hordes of Olympians came out to see "Miracle," including Kristi Yamaguchi, Bruce Jenner, and Tai Babilonia with her boyfriend, David Brenner.

But the men everyone wanted to see were Jim Craig, Mike Eruzione, and the members of the Olympic Dream Team who taught America that miracles really do happen.
