'Daredevil'
It's got a kingpin, a bull’s-eye, a beautiful babe, and a buffed up Ben Affleck. "Extra" met up with Ben as he soars to new heights as Marvel Comic's blind crime-fighting avenger, "Daredevil."
Ben says, "I wore these contacts. I couldn't see through them at all. So I basically was blind, so I didn't have to act that."
But Ben definitely had to get his workout act together for the demanding role. He says, "I had to really work out and bulk out just to look like he was a guy who physically was capable of doing these things.
Femme fatal co-star Jennifer Garner might have gone a bit too far kicking up her part on screen. Ben explains, "Jennifer Garner actually kicked me in the head at one point. I was supposed to like duck this kick and I just didn't get down in time and she got me on the top of the head and I was only unconscious briefly."
But Ben's biggest fear was donning that blood-red skintight suit. He says, "Well it's a little bit scary at first because you kind of have to just get past that initial fear of like this is going to look like a Halloween costume."
