'Scrubs'

"When they need the big guns," Rick Schroeder says, "they bring me in."

When Schroeder traded in his "NYPD Blue" badge, he didn't expect it was for a pair of hospital scrubs. Well, he has for a guest-starring run on the NBC’s comedy, "Scrubs."

Schroeder says, "I haven't done a sitcom since I was like 15. You know, ‘Silver Spoons.’"

The episode finds Rick locking lips with Dr. Elliot Reid. Could they be doctoring up a little romance? Only if she's ready to think pink. Sarah Chalke says, "We meet in a bar and Elliot falls madly in love. Until the next day when he walks into the hospital ... she realizes he is a male nurse."

Dr. Reid may be vexed about "playing doctor" with a male nurse, but Sarah was more than willing to say "ahhhh!" She says, "Here's the confessional. I was a huge fan of 'Silver Spoons' growing up."
