Ellen DeGeneres
She's been a stand-up superstar, a sitcom sensation, and now Ellen DeGeneres is bringing her dry wit back to TV with a new talk show. She says, "This show will be different from any other show that you've ever seen."
Taking a break from prepping her up coming HBO special, we caught up with the comedienne at the television industry's NATPE convention in New Orleans where the funny lady bowled over the TV bigwigs and filled "Extra" in on the format of her new talk show.
Ellen says no decision yet on a sidekick or the set, but she does think Eminem might make a good bandleader. She says, "He could just rap cause he's very talented like that.
I mean that. Don't slam me or write a bad song about me, I’m actually genuinely asking."
With or without Eminem, Ellen's new talk show will be the show
everyone's talking about this fall. |
