Norah Jones
With her velvet vocals and cover girl beauty, it's no wonder 23-year-old Norah Jones is sitting pretty with five Grammy nominations for her debut album, "Come Away With Me."
Despite the honors and a triple-platinum album, all that jazz hasn't gone to the jazz singer's head. She says, "It's cool, but it's kind of like, don't put that pressure on me."
But the pressure is on this fresh face out of Dallas, Texas who is about to kick off a 10-city tour of Australia and New Zealand. She says, "I just don't want people to get sick of me. My mom is already sick of me."
"Extra" tickled the ivories with Norah at The House of Blues in Los Angeles where the crooner confessed that while she digs jazz greats Billie Holiday and Ray Charles, at heart, she is a country girl. She says, "Dolly Parton, I love her."
Jones, who got her big break after waiting tables and playing jazz clubs in New York, is living her dream, starting with a dream duet. She says, "Willie Nelson was my ultimate, I couldn't believe it. I got to sing with Willie Nelson."
But Norah says she's jazzed just to be singing for a living, and hopes she is one Jones people will be keeping up with.
