'American Idol'
It’s the thrill of victory and the agony of defeat as "American Idol 2" takes off Tuesday night. This time around, Simon, Randy, Ryan, and Paula say this batch of starry-eyed young singers can really belt it out. Ryan Seacrest says, "I think the competition will be even more aggressive this time around."
And you'll see more of the anxiety filled auditions in the early parts of the show as the judges pick those headed for Hollywood and those left heartbroken.
Also this time, there are candid behind-the-scenes moments when Simon’s cutthroat critiques and the rejection gets a little too real. Plus, there are funny moments from the chosen few during this quest for fame.
