Bob Greene
Oprah is shaping up with a new routine and a new outlook and this time she says she'll stay fit for life. Bob Greene says, "She had palpitations of the heart and it scared her."
That was Oprah’s wakeup call to lose weight. So she called the fitness guru with the golden touch: Bob Greene. He says, "She had certain goals. One of them was to look great for the Emmy Awards."
Bob put Oprah back on track; she looked stunning in her Emmy dress. And now you can get fit too. Bob is out with a companion to his best selling book,
"Get With the Program," called, "The Guide To Good Eating." He says, "It tells you how to eat, what to eat, how to prepare over eighty recipes."
"Guiding Light" soap star Yvonna Kopacz wants to get with the program. She just gave birth to Lola. Now, she's trying to lose those pesky extra pounds. She says, "I'm still about 15 pounds overweight."
Bob Greene to the rescue. He spent the day with Yvonna to kick-start her work out routine. He says, "When you're trying to lose weight, the first thing you do is put cardiovascular exercise in your life."
The training day took off with lunges and crunches to arm curls and shoulder shrugs.
Bob tossed all the bad stuff in Yvonna’s kitchen. Bob says, "The single best tip I can give most people is to cut your eating off two to three hours before bedtime. That’s going to translate into pounds off."
That’s your blueprint for a healthy life. So get with the program.
