Body Rx

You spin, skate, swim, and sprint to stay in shape. But one expert says you can just say no to cardio! Dr. Scott Connelly says, "You can become very fit and very lean without ever doing aerobics."

Dr. Scott Connelly says to drop weight you have to pick up these weights. His new book "Body Rx" outlines a fitness and eating plan that reprograms your body to build muscle and burn fat. The more muscle you make, the more fat you will burn.

In his "6-Pack Prescription," he recommends eating six meals a day. He says, "It is essentially a high fiber, high protein type of intake."

Plus, workout cycles lasting for six weeks at a time that focus on specific goals like "strength, muscle mass, body fat reduction and muscle endurance."

If you do this program for six months, Connelly says it will add up to a great body. Plus it's worked for celebrity athletes like defensive back Jason Sehorn and boxer Oscar de la Hoya, and it's worked for Deb Clipper, who hit rock bottom after seeing a picture of herself in a bathing suit.

Deb says, "I was in shock at how terrible I looked and that's when I knew I needed to do something."

The 30-year-old did the Body Rx program and in just six months she says, "I went from 18-percent body fat to about 12-percent body fat. I wear a size two now."

So with the Body Rx "6 Pack Prescription," you too can have a sexy new body.
