Patrick Swayze

It is the role that Richard Gere revived on the big screen. Now there is a new Billy Flynn in town, as Patrick Swayze stars in "Chicago" at the Pantages Theater in Hollywood.

He says, "I've been trying to get back to Broadway for a long time. Finally I said, you know what, there's no better time than now. Just do it."

But just doing it doesn't make it easy. Swayze says, "Vocally has been the challenge. I hurt my voice early on so it has been a catch up the whole time."

He adds, "When I opened, I was so nervous. I was just like, ‘Oh, I’m going to choke.’ But I just ran up and had a blast."

And here is a little Swayze secret. The star also has a small part in "Dirty Dancing: Havana Nights." The movie opens February 27th.
