Donald Trump
Jay Leno joked with real estate mogul-turned-reality-TV-star Donald Trump on Tuesday night's "Tonight Show." And Trump told Leno he is shocked at the success of "The Apprentice."
Trump said, "I don’t believe it. I’m a real estate guy, now I’m like this big guy on television."
Each week, the 16 beautiful and brilliant young moguls-in-the-making endure cutthroat competitions to ultimately become Trump's chosen apprentice. Every show ends with Trump firing one contestant.
Last week, we saw that sex appeal helped the women's team win the sidewalk lemonade sale. On Thursday night, tempers flare as the stakes get even higher. The task this week is an ad campaign.
Trump says, "It's really tough stuff. The level of hatred, the level of viciousness, and some of the brilliant ideas that come out of this campaign are great. One of the groups came out with an amazing plan."
Trump says the outcome leads to a brutal boardroom showdown.
There are 14 more episodes to watch before one person is named "The Apprentice." Tune in to NBC and see who faces the firing squad next.
