With a camera in hand, she came down the red carpet Sunday night at the 30th Annual People's Choice Awards looking fit and fabulous on the verge of her 50th birthday. In fact, Oprah Winfrey may be in the best shape of her life.
Now Winfrey is inviting everyone to celebrate her big day on January 29th with a special live broadcast of her show. Winfrey says, "My biggest wish is that I continue to grow myself and fulfill my potential here on earth."
In the meantime, the billion-heiress told "Extra" that there will be an out-of-this-world bash over her birthday weekend. Winfrey says, "It is going to be a weekend of partying. It is going to be fun."
The partying will take place at a ritzy ranch near her $50 million estate north of Los Angeles. And the celebrity guest list will include Halle Berry, Julia Roberts, and Maria Shriver.
But in between parties, the 50-year-old Queen of Daytime will be pumping iron. She says, "For me I just have to accept the fact that I’m never not going to workout. As much as I hate it, I put in my hour."
