Ultimate Cars

Jay
Leno collects exotic cars. Jerry Seinfeld loves
Porsches. Tim Allen's a sucker for the Saleen
S7. If money is no object, you too can drive off
in your very own high performance dream machine.
David Bingham of Seattle's Park Place Motors sells
exotic cars. He gave us an extraordinary look
at four of the rarest, most expensive cars in
the world.
|
Our first car was a Ferrari F50, which, Bingham says “Is sort of the creme de la creme of Ferraris.” It has 550 horsepower, O to 60 in four seconds. But get out your wallet.
Price tag? Bingham says, “This car is probably worth about $750,000.”
Pricey enough to break the bank but this is a no frills Ferrari. No radio, no trunk space, and no electric windows.
How about something a little cheaper? The Jaguar XJ220 is so rare there are only 200 in the world! Bingham says, “This is probably the most aerodynamically beautiful car I’ve seen ever built.”
Yours for a mere $350,000.
Next we show you a Lamborghini Momo edition Diablo. This is a $340,000 street legal speed demon. It goes 0 to 60 in four seconds and 210 miles per hour on the straightaway.
This last car though could give the Diablo a run for its money: the Saleen S7. The state-of-the-art S7 unveiled at a recent auto show has car nuts like Tim Allen and Jay Leno all revved up. The S7 will set you back a cool $375,000.
And before you get behind the wheel of any of these high powered hot rods, remember to buckle up and hold on.
